Our sunshine’s have enjoyed exploring different colours this week. We have been strengthening our fine motor skills by making marks with the pant and tubes! We really enjoyed mixing the colours together and creating beautiful pictures 💙💜🧡💚

Our rainbows and stars really enjoyed our parent workshops this term! Our theme was Spring and Easter 🐣 we loved getting messy in the gloop and planting our own sunflowers together! Fun was had all round 🤩

We’ve had lots of fun this week pretending to be builders 👷 we’ve used a mixture of sand and weetabix to create different textures.
We’ve also been learning about the colour monsters and our feelings, using coloured oats to experiment with scooping and pouring, building on our fine motor skills!

We understand that recent infant formula recalls may be causing worry for parents and carers. Our information page explains which products are affected and what you should do.

Batches from brands including Aptamil, Cow & Gate and SMA have been recalled. If you have formula at home, check the batch code as affected products may still be in your cupboard.

If you have an affected batch:

- Stop using it
- Return it to the store for a replacement
- You can switch to another batch or brand
- If formula was prescribed, speak to a pharmacist or doctor first

As part of our topic, animal habitats, our children have been exploring how different animals live! In sunshine’s we had fun in an edible sensory tray and loved making the sounds of each animal! 🐘🦒🐅

It was Christmas Dinner Day at Thorncliffe today!
We spoke about where the ingredients came from, how healthy it was and about how thankful we were for our food!
We made party hats and placemats for the occasion too!

Today marks the end of term for some of our children, we hope you have the best Christmas and cannot wait to see you return in the new year 😀❤️
