Once Upon A Time Daycare

Our outer space babies have really enjoyed making edible slime with sprinkles to explore taste, texture and colour, adding insects and leaves to create a habitat for the insects to live in.

Learning about the solar eclipse, talking about our weather , the sun, the moon, night and day, light and dark.

What a wonderful wholesome afternoon we’ve had for our little kingdom children, all taking part in a variety of races, chewing on our team mates and even our parents and staff joined in! Thankyou to all our parents and families for such a lovely afternoon. ⚽️🏐🏀🤸‍♂️🏅🏆

We are ready for our first sports day for little kingdom to end our summer term, we have been practicing our balancing skills, jumping, and team building skills, we can’t wait for all our families to come and cheers us all on! 🏅🥇🥈🥉🎖️🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What an amazing end-of-year adventure for our preschool children at our Ecclesall site🦋🌿

We visited the Tropical Butterfly House and spent the day discovering the wonders of the natural world. From watching tiny ants work together to build their homes, to meeting giant tortoises, our children were fascinated every step of the way.

The highlight for many was getting hands-on with some incredible mini beasts, learning all about their habitats, features, and importance in our ecosystem. 🐜🐢🐛

A wonderful day filled with curiosity, excitement, and unforgettable learning experiences. What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of a brilliant year together! 💚

This afternoon Kerry from DCC paid us a visit with a very special message from the tooth fairy, she came to read us a story and share what the unicorn ate to look after his teeth and how to keep his teeth clean and she even let the children show her how they use their tooth brushes.
