It’s been a busy month… and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In just the last few weeks, I’ve clocked up plenty of miles visiting schools, nurseries, and wraparound care providers – delivering training, supporting leadership teams, and helping settings get Ofsted-ready. I’m not actually sure if I’ve added them all on😁

Some people see the travel as the hard part.
For me, it’s the best part (with lots of coffee!)

Every journey means new people, new ideas, and the privilege of seeing first-hand the incredible work happening for children across the country.

We’ve been a little quiet on here recently (not good with socials) but for good reason! 🤭

We’ve been back-to-back working with schools and nurseries across the country, providing support in key areas such as Wraparound care, SEND, safeguarding, and preparation for the upcoming EYFS reforms this September.

After a sunshine-filled family break, I’m refreshed and ready to get back to doing what we love: supporting our valued partners in early years to create the highest-quality, inclusive learning environments.

The DfE are opening free breakfast clubs in all primary schools to boost work choices for parents and life chances for children 🍳🍌

They have announced the first 750 schools that, from the summer term, will become the first to benefit from free breakfast clubs as part of the government’s Plan for Change.

This will help:

🚸 Improve children’s attendance, attainment, readiness to learn, wellbeing and behaviour

💷 Give parents more flexibility to work and more money in their pockets.
