Here at Riverview we are proud of the diversity of the community we serve, & of all the different languages that are spoken within our setting.
Children enjoy learning words & phrases in different languages, learning about different countries, religions & festivals.
This month we are focusing on LITHUANIAN.
If you speak Lithuanian & are able to share any stories, music, newspapers, fabrics, clothing, currency or pictures to further enrich our environment, they would be gratefully received. In addition, if you have any information about your language, or your family’s heritage that you’d like to share, please speak to one of the team; we would love to pass this on within the setting.

Great staff training session at Riverview Day Nursery yesterday. They took the last turn at hosting this term's sessions, starting with a selection of their own staff team, along with a selection of staff from The Little School House Day Nursery, Kingswood Day Nursery & Peaks Edge Day Nursery.
This term's sessions have a Quality Practice focus, looking at learning & development, key words & intent, & process over product.

Our babies have been exploring the paints. We have been using different size stamps and mixing the colours together to make new ones. 🎨

As the weather is getting warmer our babies have enjoyed exploring outside with their friends.
