Well done everyone who has taken part in the Walk and Wheel challenge this week. We are now the 3rd most active school across the city!

Please remember though, park and stride only counts if you walk 10 minutes from the car to school. We want people to be active and reduce pollution, so please walk if you can!

This half term holiday, Sheffield Theatres are opening up the doors of the Crucible Theatre with four days of fun creative activities for 8-12 year olds including crafts, drama games, imaginative play and performance skills.

The four-day holiday hub costs £140 per child.

We were honoured to hand over £1406.62 to Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity last week following our hugely successful charity fundraising drive for their Ramandan 'Moon & Stars' campaign.

A huge thank you to the community who, once again, supported us with everything they could give!

Last week, a group of children took part in a professional photoshoot to become the faces of future school fundraising campaigns for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.

The school was chosen for this because of dedication the whole community shows to fundraising for the charity, and, of course, because the children here are so brilliant!

The photos are already being used on the charity's website - as you can see!

SHEFFIELD THEATRES HALF TERM CREATIVE HOLIDAY HUB

Our friends at Sheffield Theatres are running a creative holiday hub this May half term.

The creative adventures club will run from Tue 26 - Fri 29 May (four days) from 10am - 3pm for children aged 8-12.

⭐ Spotlight moment for Nether Edge Primary ⭐

Today, seven children took on a very special role as models for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

We were proud to support the charity by helping create new images that will encourage children and schools across the city to fundraise. As one of Sheffield’s highest fundraising schools, saying yes was an easy decision.

The children got involved in a range of staged fundraising activities, from bake sales and book sales to themed days like festive clothes and yellow and blue. They approached every activity with confidence, enthusiasm and big smiles.

They had a fantastic time and helped capture some brilliant images. Keep an eye out for familiar faces appearing in Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity campaigns soon 💙💛
