This has been me for the last month:

Zoey’s Childminding Service turns 1! 🥳🎈

One year ago today I became registered with Ofsted! I can’t believe how much it has flown. It has been the best and most fun challenge I’ve ever had (aside from raising my own children 😂)

There’s been so many great adventures, learning and laughter 🥰

There’s been some difficult points, and learning to put my business head on at times has been the biggest challenge of all. But through those moments I got to feel the love and support from my wonderful families who appreciate what I do for them and I hope they know how appreciated they are too!

So I’m looking forward to heading into my 2nd year with a bunch of incredible children, families who feel like an extension of my own family and an Ofsted inspection under my belt (and PRIDE in my good rating! ✨) I can’t wait for the next year of adventures!!

So glad we’re finally getting better days! ☀️ on Friday we went to visit the animals at Graves Park, there were lots of cute lambs and kids to see and a noisy peacock who showed us his feathers 🪶

How does December seem like a lifetime ago but January feel like it’s been flying?! 🤯

This month we’ve been focusing on Winter, Polar Animals and this week we explored opposites, starting with hot and cold!

We googled about ladybirds last week after this one made a home in my car, apparently they are supposed to hibernate until February but clearly this little guy sleeps as well as many of our kids 🥴😂 I’m still happy to see him early anyway as they are meant to be a sign of good luck 🥰

My first Christmas as a childminder and I have been spoilt with love, gifts and cards from my wonderful families! Can’t wait to welcome the children back in the new year but for now it’s time to put my feet up and wait for the big guy 🎅🏼

So after a wonderful 2 days off for my beautiful friends wedding I threw myself back in the deep end with a trip to the wildlife park for myself and 5 kids today 🦒🐒🐆
Thankfully no one ended up in an enclosure and whilst we didn’t see every animal we did visit all of the parks toilets (some of them twice 😂) glad to now be back home with the kettle on! 🥴☕️

I’m terrible for shoving things in the top of the pram hood and then forgetting I’ve put them there 🙈 todays edition is a quarter buttered bagel and a baby’s sock 🤪 anyone else bad for doing this or is it just me?!

First 2 weeks at school completed and they’re finally all back full time now! 🤓 just in time for Autumn to begin, I can’t wait 🥰

Autumn and Winter are my favourite because there’s just so many fun activities we can do 🍁🍂 we’ve already been enjoying crunching in all the autumn leaves 🧡

Last week our 5 butterflies hatched! We got to watch 2 of them come out of their cocoons which was magical 🤩

The children named one each so we had:
🦋 Betty
🦋 JJ
🦋 Tommy
🦋 Rawliss
🦋 Tiggy

We let them go at the weekend, and we’ve even had one back to visit today 🥰
