Just 10 days to go for the 1st World Para Taekwondo Poomsae Championships – Bahrain 2024 (G-14)!

138 athletes from 23 countries (and a team of neutral athletes) representing all 5 regions will be in action at the Poomsae Worlds starting November 26.

Taekwondo has officially been an Olympic sport for 30 years!

Today we celebrate all our fantastic clubs, coaches and members!

British Taekwondo is counting down to Paris 2024 Olympics, as Taekwondo Events at Paris 2024 Olympic Games begin in 6 days and Para Taekwondo Events at Paris 2024 Paralympic Games begin in just 28 days. These will be televised on BBC and Channel 4.

Eventful year for Legacy instructor Ian Murphy who was selected to be an International Classifier in France and Chile this year. It was great to see students making steady progress in their Taekwondo training journey and being successful in grade promotions. Happy New Year to all our members and looking forward to welcoming all back to training from Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

New year and new grading book for our new students. Looking forward to handing out to those who graded in December 2022 along with their certificates.

Happy New Year to all with great expectation for all that is to come in 2023. Classes resume on Saturday 7th January 2023 at Hillsborough Leisure Centre and the following week for the weekday classes in Walkley. Looking forward to welcoming everybody back to Taekwondo training and also welcoming new students (adults and children over 5 years of age).

A challenging but rewarding day at the 9th Koryo Dan Grading today. Congratulations to Nicholas Brown on his promotion to 2nd Dan and Kieran Cave on his promotion to 3rd Dan. All the hard work has paid off and a great preparation for the next part of their Taekwondo journey.

Looking back on a great event from last year when our Welfare Officer and 3rd Dan Instructor Charlie Gascoyne-Thompson delivered some great taster sessions for a great group of focused children! One of a number of introductory Taekwondo sessions we have delivered. Looking forward to more opportunities to do so in the future. Don't forget that our Hillsborough Leisure Centre Saturday sessions on 19th November 2022 have moved to Sunday 20th 2022 for this week only.
