Happy Valentine’s Day everyone 😊❤️
I finally found the perfect opportunity to try out a chenille yarn with this lovely amigurumi heart pattern by ❤️
The yarn I used is the Happy Chenille yarn by and I’m already looking for more patterns to try with it! 😊👏🏻 This colour is called Firework 🎆
It was a little tricky to see where I was going at times but I think I could get used to that pretty quickly if it means I can make more fuzzy ! 😊🧶

Happy New Year 😊🎉 I hope you’re all having a lovely year so far. I thought you might like to see what I’ve been up to over the holidays! 👀
This is a pair of needle felted blue t**s I made for my grandparents for Christmas 🎁 I had never tried needle felting before but was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they came together! Probably this was partly due to me rushing to get them finished in time 😂😅
I used a kit that came with everything I needed to make them and good instructions 👌 It was a very creative process and a very new skill for me to work in 3D! It took some adjusting but in the end it was like painting in 3 dimensions 🎨👏🏻
This kit has since sold out but if you fancy giving needle felting a try, there’s plenty of other kits available on !

Would it even be Halloween if I didn’t crochet a pumpkin? 🎃😄
I had great fun making this little piece of Autumn decor 🍁😊 The free pattern I used is by I’ve linked it in my bio in case you wanted to try it for yourself! 🙂
The yarn is my favourite yarn for amigurumi by and there’s a link to that in my bio too 😊🧶👏🏻

Crochet amigurumi cat keychain 😊🐱🐈🧶
I made this little guy as a special request for one of my crochet students recently and he was almost too cute to let go! ❤️
I followed a really great video tutorial by - I’ve put a link in my bio in case you’d like to try it for yourself! 😊 They have lots of other cute animals to try too 👌🏻
The yarn I used is by 🧶 It has really great stitch definition and feels like it will be very hard-wearing for years to come. Most importantly though, it comes in loads of colours 😄🎨

Crochet bobble stitch dishcloth 😊🧶
Recently I learned how to do a crochet bobble stitch and I’ve been practicing by making this fun dishcloth 😊
Is it effective? We’re yet to find out 😅 I’m hoping it brings a little extra scrubbing power but it almost looks too pretty to use! Decorative dishcloths are a thing, right? 🤔👍🏻

I love new yarn day! 😊🧶🎨
I had a voucher for to use from my birthday so I had the rare opportunity to try a bigger project and make something for myself 😆
My lovely colourful and soft new yarn by has arrived and so far is exceeding expectations 👏🏻 I can’t wait to show you all what I’m making! 😊👀

Sakura market bag by .a.m.e_crochet 🧶😊🌸
Does anybody else have a huge collection of half finished projects? Here’s one I started working on about 6 months ago that I just picked up again last week 😅
This beautiful pattern has been a bit of a learning curve for sure, and I admit I have made a few mistakes but I won’t tell you where they are 😉
When I started, I had no idea you could do such intricate things with crochet and this was a really great way to dip my toe in the water and learn about some of the different shapes I could make. 👌🏻
I found the pattern for free on the website (link in my bio). It was really easy to follow and the creator actually has a series of videos you can follow along with which has been great for some of the techniques I was unfamiliar with 👏🏻

Work in progress: crochet raffia hat 😊👒
It has been WAY too hot to crochet with any of my lovely snuggly yarns this week so I thought I’d have a go with some raffia! ☀️
Raffia is a wood fibre based yarn, which looks like it would be really fragile and hard to work with but I’ve been so pleasantly surprised by how strong, soft and flexible this is! 🪵👏🏻
The yarn I’m using is by and it comes in so many cool colours. This colour is desert palm 🌴

The lovely pattern for this hat is by and they have a full tutorial on their YouTube channel! 👏🏻
I like this pattern because it’s quite beginner friendly and only uses chains, single crochets and slip stitches (US terms), so definitely worth having a go if you’re confident with all of those! 😊👌🏻

Hello everybody 😊 Long time no post!
I’m finally back to crafting after a long but well needed holiday ☀️ I thought I’d ease back into crochet with this super quick yet useful project - another dishcloth! 😄
This time I tried a superbly scrubby lemon peel stitch 🍋 It gives it a really fun texture so hopefully it cleans well too! 🤞🏻
Let me know if you’d like a tutorial for this pattern - it’s very beginner friendly! 👏🏻
