We've had a creative few weeks, sewing cushion covers for the community and creating collages for a banner for the amazing Chol Theatre.
We made crunchy maamoul pastries this week as we prepared for Eid.
Eid Mubarak to all our wonderful community! ❤️

Our community enjoyed a fabulous morning with Carly from Chol Theatre exploring, creatively, that special relationship between grandmas and granddaughters.
We also welcomed a visitor, Bev, from Pitsmoor Adventure Playground who joined us all for lunch.

We are so grateful for the support of the National Lottery Community Fund, to sustain our work in Burngreave for the next five years!
We will continue to support women and families to build skills and gain confidence as we navigate life together and build a strong community.

We had a fabulous morning making decoupage coasters and enjoying a relaxed time amongst friends. Our talented chef, Amal made a tasty soup with kubz and we used surplus bananas to rustle up a banana cake. Supported by the This Is Us fund.

A few photos of our activities so far this term, funded by the ICB "This is Us" grant. Building a strong community as we enjoy music and dance, relaxing with mindful crafts, and enjoying a day at Chatsworth House together.

A lovely visit to the Winter Gardens today to see the Learn Create Sell pop-up shop and buy some amazing handicrafts.
Then to the Millennium Gallery to learn about the Ruskin Collection and their former curator Genevieve Pilley, great-great aunt of our Julie.
A day enjoying Castlegate Grey to Green park and getting to know our city together.
