Our Reception class had a ROAR-some time exploring Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre today to track down the Pride of Yorkshire lions! 🦁🎨 But honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip was spotting the lovely Sue out on her daily walk. It warmed our hearts to see her doing so well and continuing her journey back to full health! 💖✨

We found the LIONS! 🦁👀 Our Year 1 little explorers had the most roar-some time tracking down the Pride of Yorkshire.

Our children had the BEST time drumming today as part of Arts Week! 🥁 You could hear the rhythm all over school. So much focus, teamwork, and smiles - little musicians in the making! 🎵

Arts week started with a 'roar' our Y2s had fantastic time out and about on the Pride of Yorkshire trail at Crystal Peaks. We were super excited to track down Waterthorpe’s very own lion cub, Lennie! Back in the classroom, the creativity continued as the children sculpted their very own pride of lions out of clay. We are so proud of their artistic skills and enthusiasm!

Our little champions are celebrating Wimbledon week by smashing their lunchtime ball skills with Mr.Dungworth. From perfecting their catches to mastering their volleys, the energy on the court was unmatched. Future Grand Slam winners in the making! SJD Sports Coaching
