Jodi Garth

Jodi Garth Qualified, experienced maths teacher offering private tuition for Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level. I love helping people find enjoyment in maths!

I believe that everyone can reach their goals in maths with some support from the right person. Working with children and teenagers has always been huge part of my life. I have volunteered at Stephen Hill Pantomime since turning 18, I ran a local Brownie troop and spent a summer at Camp Chinqueka in the US. I started working with small GCSE groups when studying my A-Levels at Tapton Secondary School. I went on to study maths at King's College London where I had the opportunity to join the outreach programmes in Dulwich. I graduated from KCL in 2013.

I felt it was important to spend some time outside of education, so I spent two years working backstage for Sheffield Theatres and other local theatre groups.

Eventually I did find my way back to the classroom. I studied my PGCE at Sheffield Hallam University, completing placements in Sheffield, Rotherham and The Netherlands before graduating in 2016. I have since worked at schools in Derbyshire and Pen*stone, most recently as Second in Department.
