Our academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools which is united by a shared commitment to bring out ‘the best in everyone’. In this, we benefit significantly from opportunities to collaborate within Sheffield and across the country – from enrichment, academic and university access initiatives for students, to staff professional development and support. Whilst academic success is very important, at Sheffield Park Academy we believe that there is more to a good education. As well as ensuring our students succeed in exams, we aim to develop character, compassion and service. Throughout their time with us, students are expected to contribute to our school community and to society. We want students to try things they cannot do, to persist in the face of difficulty and to become resilient in overcoming obstacles. With this in mind, we provide a breadth of opportunities and experiences which seek to help our students become confident, well-rounded and ambitious young adults. Our curriculum and enrichment programme is overflowing with opportunities to try something new and develop new skills. In addition to our very wide range of extracurricular clubs, our students enjoy a diverse range of trips, university visits, talks by inspirational speakers from the worlds of medicine, law and business as well as countless opportunities to collaborate with their peers at United Learning schools across the country.

✨ MoveFest 2026 ✨

A fantastic day at The Crucible for MoveFest 2026 with students from Years 9, 10 and 12!

Our students represented the academy brilliantly, acting as true ambassadors while showcasing an incredible range of dance styles.

A special shout-out to Erin (Year 9) for her self-choreographed solo, which earned her the amazing title of Dancer of the Day 🏆👏

Mrs Booth and Honey smashed their TikTok Challenge heat, only narrowly missing out on the overall prize! Students also loved cheering on Mrs Booth and Miss Buckley in the teacher flash mob!

A huge thank you to Links for organising another incredible event — we can’t wait for next year!

Huge congratulations to Year 11 student EJ, who won tickets to the FA Cup Final at Wembley thanks to the Free Kicks Foundation and the Paul Canoville Foundation 👏⚽

EJ was nominated for “being an exceptional student since Year 7 - he consistently goes above and beyond both in the classroom and within the wider school community, demonstrating ambition, dedication, and a strong drive to succeed in every lesson.”

On 16 May 2026, EJ enjoyed seats in the exclusive Membership Area as Chelsea faced Manchester City in an unforgettable final at Wembley. And what a match it was! A brilliant near-post flick from Antoine Semenyo, set up by Erling Haaland, secured a 1–0 victory for Manchester City, who lifted the Emirates FA Cup for the eighth time 🏆

We are extremely proud of EJ – a well-deserved reward and recognition for five years of outstanding commitment and achievement both in and out of the classroom 💙
