We’re Hiring: Governance Advisor | Wickersley Partnership Trust

We are seeking a Governance Advisor (Behaviour & Panels) to provide high-quality governance, administrative, and organisational support across the Trust.

Alongside traditional clerking duties - such as preparing agendas, minuting board meetings, and advising on statutory compliance - you will act as the Trust’s primary administrative point of contact for Permanent Exclusion (PX) and Behaviour Panels. You will handle highly sensitive documentation, liaise with vulnerable families during challenging times, and ensure that all panels are legally robust and strictly compliant with statutory timelines.

📣 On Wednesday, Year 6 gave a fantastic performance at their Leavers’ Assembly, sharing some of their favourite memories and reflecting on their journey through primary school.

They spoke with confidence in front of staff, pupils, and parents, making it a truly special and emotional occasion. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements and reflect on what has been a brilliant year. Well done, Year 6!

🌿 This week, our fantastic pupils in Years 3, 4, and 5 took part in an exciting creative competition run by Rotherham Council. The children were challenged to design an individual piece of a jigsaw puzzle, with all the entries eventually coming together to form a large collaborative plaque. The theme, “How our school looks after the environment,” inspired lots of creative and thoughtful ideas.

With so many fantastic designs to choose from, Archie, our Student Leadership Chair, and Rowan, our Vice Chair, had the difficult task of judging every entry. They were incredibly impressed by the creativity and passion shown by all the children. A huge congratulations to Ivy, Harry, and Mia, whose designs were selected to represent our school in the grand final. Their entries have now been sent to the Council, and we wish them the very best of luck!

🎭 Congratulations to all the children who took part in our whole-school production of The Wizard of Oz! We are incredibly proud of everyone for their hard work and fantastic performance skills. Their confidence and enthusiasm made the show a huge success.

A big thank you to our families for your continued support, from buying tickets and helping children learn their lines to providing such wonderful costumes. Your encouragement helped make the production so special. We’re also delighted to announce that, following the success of this year’s show, a whole-school summer production will now become an annual Aston Lodge tradition!
