We have had the most amazing day at Children 1st Fest. Our superstars have loved dancing, singing karaoke, popping to the glitter bar, playing musical instruments and so much more! MC Miss Lucy ensured everyone from Babies to Early Years got up for a sing and a dance, I’m sure we’ll all sleep tonight 🤩

Early Years have had a fantastic time mashing avocados to make guacamole! It was a great way to explore new textures and taste new things. Well done, guac stars!

It’s Football Friday! ⚽️
Today, all of us at nursery have had a fantastic time celebrating the end of the World Cup. We kicked footballs outside, role-played in our sensory tuff spots, rolled balls through play-dough and so much more. Thank you everyone for showing up in your favourite kits, we’ve had a ball!

It’s been baking central in Peter Rabbits and Early Years this week! We’ve had so much fun mixing ingredients and learning about different foods to make all sorts of different treats - including gingerbread men, banana bread and apple crumble! 🍞🍎👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

National Baby-Led Weaning Day 💛

Baby-led weaning gives children the opportunity to explore food independently, helping to build confidence, support fine motor development and encourage a positive relationship with food from the very start.

We know that every family's weaning journey is different. That's why we take time during the settling-in process to understand each family's preferences and chosen approach. Whether parents opt for baby-led weaning, purées or a combination of both, it's always led by parental choice, with our nursery teams there to provide support every step of the way.

Through close partnerships with families, we create positive mealtime experiences where children can safely explore a variety of tastes and textures at their own pace. As they do, they're developing independence, self-confidence and important skills that support their wider learning and development.

The children in our baby room have been closely following the world cup this week🏆⚽️ With many of them coming dressed in various footballs kits, particularly when England are playing, we decided to devise our very own activity to enable the babies to explore balls in different ways. From exploring their texture, to rolling them on different surfaces, lots of fun was had by all!😍

With the return of the wonderful sunny weather, our Bobtails children have been busy washing a range of resources, from babies to animals to transport vehicles. As you can see from their beautiful smiles, they had the best time!😍🤩
