Why train Unilateral? 🤷♀️
Yes… I still hate Bulgarian Split Squats as much as the next person 🤢 .. but I still do them.. bear with me..
🏂 🏄♀️ Even in Board Sports a lot of the time our legs are working independent to one another.
This is great.. but it can create imbalances
We all have imbalances - that’s normal !
Unilateral training helps correct these imbalances ✅
And when you start correcting them…?
Your movement will level up 📈

I used to compare myself to my tiny dancer friends and wonder why I was different.
It’s incredible to see the shift in society, but we gotta still keep moving forward.
Here’s to being strong as heck.
Here’s to showing those little girls they can be strong as heck too.

Time to reintroduce myself 🙋♀️
Hey! I’m Gabby!
I’m an online coach, PT & Firefighter.
I’ve been coaching in a gym setting for around 5 years now.
But before that, I coached in;
Kayaking
Wakeboarding
Paddle boarding
I competed for Great Britain in Freestyle Kayaking for around 10 years. 🇬🇧
It took me to some incredible places, taught me some insane life lessons.
And really was a gateway to all the other extreme sports I love today.
And is how I initially started a form coaching.
Quals;
Level 3 Personal Trainer
Level 2 Strength & Conditioning
Personal Trainer Assessor
Class quals include the classics;
Circuit training, spin, kettlebells
Achievements;
From competing for GB for around 10 years, with a world champ medal, and some British titles thrown in their along the way
My greatest achievement to date;

But I wouldn’t be here, doing any of it, without the learning of;
bravery, drive, passion and resilience, and learning to adapt through injuries without my kayaking experiences 🇬🇧
Type of training I love;
They call it “Hybrid” training.
I call it; doing the things you should do.
Strength, Functional, and good old cardio.
Sharing this stuff put on the socials feels weird.
But if I don’t tell you who I am, what I do, what I’m about, then who the heck will?
