It was fantastic to see our new cohort of maths and physics trainees at our welcome event this week!

They have got off to a great start, looking at what makes a great teacher, gaining an overview of the training programme, and getting an understanding of what to expect throughout their training year. They also received practical advice on how to prepare between now and when their training starts in August.

There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions, hear from experienced teaching professionals, and learn about the skills they will develop throughout their training.

We are so excited to support our new cohort as they take their first steps into teaching and look forward to seeing them again in August! 🙂🌟
