Join us on **Thursday 16th July from 3:30pm** for an afternoon of colour, fun and celebration as we round off another fabulous school year! 🎉

With a little help from our good friends at **The Active Club**, we're hosting our very own **Colour Run**, complete with fun obstacles along the route. Best of all, **Hoylandswaine Primary School pupils can take part for FREE!**

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Siblings, family members and friends are welcome to join in too for just **£5 per person**.

This year, the Colour Run will take the place of our usual Summer Fayre, but there will still be plenty to enjoy, including:

BEHIND THE SCENES - HSA have been shopping today for the Father’s Day secret shop 🩵 Hand selecting lots of different gifts for the children to choose next week 🛍️ It’s most definitely a favourite annual event, helping the children pick out a special gift for their special person 🥰 Also a great time to get some chores done to earn a token to spend at the shop 💝

A Night to Remember — and an Even Bigger One Ahead 🥳

Last year, the Hoylandswaine School Alliance brought the community together in spectacular style with their unforgettable fundraising event, Boogie in the Barn.

Set against the rustic charm of Parkhouse Farm, the evening proved to be a shining example of what happens when a village rallies around its school.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a buzz in the air. The barn had been beautifully transformed thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers who gave up their time to plan, decorate, and run the event. Their hard work paid off - creating a warm, lively atmosphere that set the tone for the night ahead.

Entertainment was at the heart of the evening, with fabulous live music from Laura Kelly keeping the dance floor full from start to finish. Whether you were a seasoned dancer or just there for the fun, it was impossible not to get swept up in the energy.

Guests also enjoyed a range of activities, from axe throwing courtesy of The Active Club to capturing memories in the ever-popular photo booth.

Food and drink were another highlight of the evening. Guests enjoyed delicious hot roast sandwiches included in the ticket price, keeping everyone well-fed and ready to dance - while a well-stocked bar ensured the good times kept flowing throughout the night.

Most importantly, the event raised an incredible £2,138, all of which is going towards resources and activities at Hoylandswaine Primary School - making a real difference for the children.

Building on last year’s success, the Hoylandswaine School Alliance is already gearing up to make this year’s Boogie in the Barn even bigger and better.

The much-loved Parkhouse Farm will once again play host, and tickets are priced at just £15 - offering fantastic value for a brilliant night out.

This year’s entertainment promises to be just as exciting, with local favourites The Mediocritones - well known from Swainfest—taking to the stage.

Alongside the music, guests can look forward to even more fun, including a brand-new bucking bronco - guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs and a bit of friendly competition!

With another evening of music, laughter, and community spirit on the cards, organisers are hoping to raise even more funds to support the school’s end-of-year summer treat for the children.

If last year is anything to go by, it’s set to be a night not to miss.
