We are back!
Sorry we have not posted for a while.
Lots will be happening in the next few months in the run up to Christmas.
First up it's Halloween 🎃
We will be having a Halloween party on the 31st October fun,games and fancy dress

WE'RE HAVING A PARTY!!
Beech Hill is going to be 30 and we would love to celebrate it with all of you.
So we are having a birthday party on the 13th of September and would love it if you could join us.🎈
Spread the word as we're sure there are lots of people who aren't on here that have attended Beech Hill over the last 30 years.

Jane Stapleton photography will be visiting nursery tomorrow.
They will be arriving to take our photographs at 9am and will stay until around lunchtime (12pm).
If you would like your child to have the photo taken please inform the staff members in the rooms.
If your child doesn't attend tomorrow they are still welcome to have their photographs taken as long as they are accompanied by a parent/ guardian.

Hi,

We are wanting to make some trees for our Gruffalo display in the Panda room and was wondering if anyone has any large sheets of corrugated cardboard (the sort you get from furniture packaging or large deliveries). As this is textured and we can bend it round to make it 3D on the board.

We have had to have part of the big Beech tree on the front garden chopped down today so we have some logs at the front of nursery which are free for you to take if anyone is interested.

Hi all,
We will be having a team from Look North come into nursery tomorrow to talk to us about the closure today/ how the protests have affected us. They will be filming around the nursery so we need parental consent for them to film your children. We will have consent forms in the rooms tomorrow morning. If you are not happy with your child being filmed please let us know.

We would also like to thank everyone for their swift action in coming to collect their children today so we could ensure everyone’s safety.

Please be aware we will be closing nursery at 11am due to the protests on west street. sorry for any inconvenience caused but the safety of the children and staff are paramount.

PLEASE NOTE

For our term time only children our last day of Summer term is Tuesday the 23rd of July 2024. The beginning of the Autumn term is Monday the 2nd of September 2024.

Does this pram belong to anyone on here or does anyone know who it belongs to? It has been left in our pram shed for the past few months and it looks like it is starting to go mouldy due to the damp conditions.
As many of you who use the pram shed know we have limited space in there due to our baby room becoming busier than it has been.
If this is your pram we would really appreciate it if you could take it away.

Wow! I didn't reaslise how long it had been since we had posted on this page, but it has been something that has been pushed aside recently. Having said this We are going to be posting a couple of things over the next few days so keep your eye's peeled.

Happy St Georges Day to everyone celebrating. We have been painting England flags and doing some St George's day colouring sheets today. We have also been talking to the children about who St George was and why we celebrate St George's Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Nowruz is the Iranian or Persian New Year and is celebrated by various ethnic groups worldwide.
It is a festival based on the Iranian Solar Hijri calendar on the spring equinox which is around the 21st of March in the Gregorian calendar.
