100 Talks For Change

5 months ago we came up with an idea, an idea to use the power of words to create change.💥⁣

It’s no secret that we are in a mental health crisis, especially within education. Our youth are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, and suicidal thoughts more than any generation before them. About 1,500,000 under-18s will need new or extra help with their mental health as a direct result of Covid. ⁣🧠⁣

Talking saved our lives. At first, we both learned how to TALK about our emotions, feelings, and the things we were struggling with. Then we learned how to navigate ourselves out of years of depression and mental health struggles. 🧭⁣

We all know the power that lies in words. However, the two of us know the magic that lies in words spoken well….⁣ 👀⁣
⁣
That’s exactly why in May 2023 we’re going to be travelling across the UK, delivering over 100 talks, in 20 days, to over 10,000 students. To not only impact those who hear us talk, but to raise money for some very special charities in the mental health space - Young Minds Matter, Suicide&Co and Make Life Kind ❤️⁣
