🌹Welcome to 'La Floresta'! 🌹

Our new Spanish-inspired dining room opened earlier this term!

The dining space is for our older children to eat in, and features inspiring recipes and Spain-related displays on the walls.

With fewer children in one space one, we can space out a bit more and allow children to have more room to enjoy their food.

🌳 Welcome to our brand new 'Tree Top Cafe'! 🌳

This new dining room space for our youngest children was opening in September and we absolutely love it!

The tailor-made space has been created to provide a dining room just for our early years and Key Stage 1 children to enjoy their lunch in.

Woodlands Primary School is recruiting an ambitious, talented and caring Level 3 teaching assistant to join our team as soon as possible.

This role, based in our Early Years team, offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside teachers and support staff to provide high quality learning experiences for children. You will support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning and speech difficulties, while helping all children to thrive and achieve their best.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, building positive relationships and making a meaningful difference every day.

✅ Grade 4 £27,274 to £29,542 FTE
✅ Actual salary £23,459 to £25,410
✅ 37 hours per week, 39 weeks
✅ Fixed term until 31 August 2027
✅ Start date: As soon as possible
✅ Closing date: Sunday 4 October

What an amazing start to our new academic year!

During our first week back to school we had lots of exciting new games to enjoy, along with a brand-new lunchtime rota, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the fun, enthusiasm and enjoyment our children bring each day.

It’s been wonderful to see so many children getting involved, trying new activities, playing together and, most importantly, smiling all around.

We're looking forward to another fantastic year of happy lunchtimes, new friendships and lots of fun.

Today, we are delighted to welcome our pupils back to school for another exciting year of learning.

Over the summer holidays, we've been busy preparing our school, including creating two brand new dining spaces, refurbishing our staff room and refreshing our classrooms with new displays.

Each change has been made to ensure our pupils and staff have welcoming, well-equipped spaces in which to learn and grow.

With everything in place for the term ahead, we can't wait to welcome pupils back today.
