Introducing the Newest Club at Westbourne: Puppetry!

We embarked on a magical journey this week as we unveiled our brand-new club, "Puppetry"!

Puppetry club is led by the incredibly talented Nefyn, a prestigious East 15 acting school graduate in London in 2021. You might also know him as the mastermind behind our beloved Thursday Drama Club.

Nefyn's passion for puppetry knows no bounds, and he's eager to share his fascination with our pupils. Together, they'll explore the enchanting world of puppetry, bringing characters to life through artistry and storytelling.

Join us in celebrating this exciting addition to our school's clubs and activities. Let's nurture creativity, ignite imaginations, and watch our young puppeteers shine!

We are excited to announce that we are moving on the 14th January up to Westbourne School in their brand new hall. We are expanding in a small way, just extending what we offer but still with our small class sizes. We know our students very well and they grow in confidence, resilience and performance.
So if you would like to join our Theatre school, take up acting lessons and work towards a LAMDA qualification in Acting, Musical theatre, Shakespeare, Public speaking, then drop us a message or email.

Join us for our new term this Saturday coming at 9.30pm. We have a limited number of places available.

And that’s a wrap on our end of term production. What an amazing magical journey we’ve had. Well done to our fantastic members from the youngest at 9 to our oldest at 17. We are not a large performing arts Saturday school but we are passionate about what we do and we live it and love every moment of it.

This year's Summer Shoots are about to explore everything we love about escapism. From prison breaks, life on the run, escapist fantasy and escaping conventions, this summer's youth film productions are set to take us outside of the box!

Meet Jas, she has been a member of STAR (Easy Street Academy) since she was 8 years old. We are incredibly proud of her hard work , talent and her determination to pursue a career in acting.
She is signed with Articulate Agency based in Yorkshire and is currently filming for Waterloo Road.

She truly is a STAR in the making and we will be supporting her all the way!

Sheffield Theatre Arts are a small Saturday performing arts company based in Sheffield, we pride ourselves on not being a franchise, knowing our members really well and working on their skills, confidence and performance techniques. Many students from the STAR/academy have gone on to do professional training in both performance and technical theatre.
