Sometimes I stop and think…

People actually trust us with their children's education.

And that's a pretty big deal.

Every new enquiry.

Every recommendation in a local Facebook group.

Every parent who tags our page.

Every child who comes back for another lesson.

Every message saying, “They came out feeling so much more confident.”

THAT is how this little business grows.

We're not trying to create a tutoring factory.

I want Educate with Hannah to stay somewhere children are known as individuals.

Somewhere they can say they don't understand.

Somewhere learning can be fun.

And somewhere there's always somebody in their corner.

So to every family who chooses us, recommends us, shares our posts or quietly tells another parent about us…

Ask your child this WITHOUT giving them time to prepare:

If you could add one completely ridiculous subject to the school timetable, what would it be?

Examples:

🍕 Pizza Making Studies
🎮 Advanced Minecraft
😴 Professional Napping
🐶 Dog Appreciation
🧙 Harry Potter History
⚽ Premier League Mathematics

Then come back and tell me their answer. 😂👇

And actually… I'd love to know:

What would they genuinely LOVE to learn more about?

Children are naturally curious when we give them the opportunity to lead the conversation. 💛

😂 My final student of the night had NEVER seen The Traitors!

When I told him that’s where I was heading straight after our lesson, and he asked me “What’s that?” I honestly couldn’t believe it! 🤯😂

So now I’m off to get comfy and see what tonight’s episode has in store… 🕵️‍♀️👀

Who else is watching The Traitors tonight? 🖤🔪

And alongside that… who else watches EVERYTHING with the subtitles on?! 😂🙋‍♀️

I genuinely can’t watch TV without them now! 👀😂

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN 1:1 TUITION? 📚

There's no standard Educate with Hannah lesson.

And that's kind of the point.

One student might need to work through GCSE exam questions.

Another might need to go right back and fill a gap that's been causing problems for YEARS.

Another might need to spend the first few sessions simply rebuilding their confidence.

We might use games. 🎲

We might draw things out. ✏️

We might talk through a problem 14 different ways until we find the one that clicks. 💡

Every child is different.

So why would we give them all the same lesson?

We teach the child, not just the curriculum. 💛

Tonight's challenge is VERY simple…

Everyone puts their phone down for 20 minutes. 👀

Yes, parents. You too. 😂

Child chooses something to read.

You choose something to read.

No questions afterwards.

No “what happened in chapter three?”

No checking how many pages they've managed.

Just 20 minutes where reading is something you do because you enjoy it.

Bonus points for blankets, snacks and ridiculous levels of cosiness. ☕📚

THE CHILD WHO “DOESN’T CARE” 💛

Sometimes the child who looks like they don't care…

Actually cares A LOT.

They don't want to start because they're worried they'll get it wrong.

They make a joke because they don't want anyone to know they don't understand.

They say something is “boring” because saying “I can't do this” feels much harder.

One of the biggest things I've learned as a tutor is to look beyond the behaviour.

Sometimes before we can teach the Maths or English, we need to build the confidence to TRY.

And once that starts happening?

That's when the magic happens. ✨

💻 Both taught LIVE via Zoom
💷 £15 per session
👥 Maximum 6 students per group
Our groups aren't about sitting silently doing endless worksheets!
We want students to ask questions, get things wrong, have a go and actually understand what they're doing.
We'll focus on:
💡 Building confidence
🎯 GCSE exam technique
🧠 Filling those frustrating knowledge gaps
📝 Exam-style questions
🙋 A small environment where students can actually ask for help
Perfect for students who are struggling, aiming for a higher grade, or simply need things explained in a different way.
Our first GCSE English group has already completely filled, so spaces are going quickly! 🔥

😂 THINGS YOU MAY HEAR IN AN EDUCATE WITH HANNAH LESSON…

“Wait… THAT'S all I had to do?!”

“I definitely knew that. I just forgot it.”

“Can we do ONE more?”

“Does spelling count?”

“Please don't tell my mum I actually enjoyed Maths.” 👀

And my personal favourite…

💡 “OH! I GET IT NOW!”

Tutoring doesn't need to feel like another hour of school.

We can learn, make mistakes, have a laugh AND make progress.

In fact, that's exactly how I like it. 💛

💻 WHY SMALL GROUP TUITION?

Because there's a lovely middle ground between a classroom of 30 and 1:1 tuition.

Our GCSE groups have a maximum of 6 students.

That means students can:

🙋 Actually ask questions
💬 Hear other people's ideas
🧠 Learn from each other
✏️ Practise exam questions together
💛 Build confidence without feeling singled out

Small enough to be supported.

Big enough to feel like you're not doing it alone.

That's exactly how we want our groups to feel.

Things tutors get ridiculously excited about (apart from camping pizzas ;) :

A student saying, “Ohhhhhh, I get it!”

Someone attempting a question without immediately saying they can't do it.

A student remembering something from last week.

Seeing confidence slowly appear.

Hearing, “Can I try another one?”

Yes, grades matter.

But these are the moments that tell us we're getting somewhere.
