Children are welcome to come to school in PE kit for the rest of the week.

Please remember;
- no football kits
- sensible shoes still need to be worn
- bring hat and water bottle
- apply sun-cream before school

Wednesday
Main: Jacket potato with sausage and beans
Vegetarian option: Jacket potato with Quorn sausage and beans
Desert: Jammy cookie

Thursday
Main: Variety of fish, chips and beans
Vegetarian option: Vegetable fingers and chips

Desert: Ice cream roll

Sandwiches, Jacket Potatoes and cold pasta pots will still be available to order on both days
Fresh salad will be on offer for both days

There is very hot weather forecast for next week. Please ensure your child brings to school every day:
- A named water bottle
- A sun hat or cap
- Suncream applied before school
- Wear uniform shorts, skirts or sun dresses

We will encourage children to drink plenty of water, stay in shaded areas where possible and take regular breaks.

⭐⛰️🥾The Y3 children had an adventurous trip to Castleton today! They studied the features of a village, saw the inside of a cave and completed a hike on a pretty tricky path past the castle!🥾⭐
They really showed determination, team work and leadership skills.

🛴⭐ Year 1 developed their scooter skills today with a session from Rosie from Modeshift STARS.⭐🛴
We now have a set of scooter and helmets in school to use at playtime!

🚢⚓Year 6 had a visit from The Royal Navy today. They talked about how the Navy contributes to our Nation's security and possible careers. The children enjoyed a workshop on designing a flare and testing out the design on the field! ⚓🚢

🧻⭐Y1 to Y6 had a visit from Kids Invent Stuff today. They had an exciting assembly think about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths skills. They looked at examples of inventions and even tried (unsuccessfully!) to get a world record for covering a teacher in toilet roll in 30 seconds! ⭐🧻

The children were then set a brief to invent something that would help to look after our environment. There were some great ideas that the team have taken away to see if they can make any of them become reality! 🌳🌳🌳
