Hey everyone,

Like most of you, we are disappointed and upset with yesterday’s Supreme Court decision. The best thing we can do right now is come together as a community against bigotry and transphobia.

Trans and non binary people have played key roles throughout our LGBTQ history and fight for equal rights and we will not leave them behind, they deserve much much more than that.

If anyone is struggling with the situation, just know you are not alone and there are support resources that we can signpost you to. If one of us suffers, we all suffer.

The main purpose of Fruity Thursday is to create a safe environment for everyone in the community to express themselves freely and without fear of danger or discrimination. We will not tolerate any forms of bigotry, transphobia, homophobia, sexism or racism at our event.

We are here from 8:30 tonight, if you’re feeling a bit low and need a pick me up or just want to take your mind off current events. Everyone is welcome.

Fruity Thursday is BACK!

Join us for a night of q***r joy, community vibes, and Drag Queen Karaoke kicking off at 8:30 PM at Whether you’re belting out a banger or cheering from the sidelines, it’s going to be a night to remember.

Hello everyone!

With prom fast approaching, we’re giving everyone attending all the final details they need!

Dress Code is Formal/Black Tie. Ideally no jeans or joggers, trainers are fine though! Obviously wear what you feel comfortable in, but it would be nice to make the effort.

Prom will be hosted at Sheffield United Stadium. To get in, use the entrance on John Street.

Arrival at 7pm with food served 7:30/8 so don’t be late!

There will be some speeches, some awards and a good time!

Introducing our February Schedule ❤️

As it is LGBTQ History Month, we have a number of events to help celebrate, as well as our usual weekly events 🌈

Sunday 9th February 1pm - We’re taking a trip up to Weston Park Museum to visit their ‘Proud!’ Exhibit, curated by LGBTQ people in Sheffield and exploring the history of the community in Sheffield. After, we will be going to the Graduate for food and drinks 🍹

Tuesday 11th February 5pm - We will be hosting an quiz focused on LGBTQ History with fun prizes. Location is to be announced soon. An opportunity for all to test their knowledge and maybe learn something new 🌈

Tuesday 18th February 7:00pm - We’re collaborating with to present ‘Tangerine’, a comedy film following a transgender woman and her best friend. Hosted at The Void theatre in Owen Building 🎬

20th February 8:30pm - This Fruity Thursday, we want you to come dressed as your favourite LGBTQ icon. There will be a prize for best dressed, so come in your best costumes! 👗
