Can you guess the song just from the melody? He's a clue: it's from the 2000s and it's normally got a lot more distortion on the guitar!

Do you have a child between the ages of 8 and 12 who would be up for a jam? Please let us know! Whatever instrument they play, we'd love to have them along.
If enough kids are interested in coming, we plan to host regular jam sessions at Finale Music School.
While some musical ability is necessary, children do not need to have played in a group before. This will be an ideal opportunity for them to learn how to play with other kids their own age, with the guidance of an experienced, encouraging jam group leader.

Many musicians write great songs but struggle to get the confidence to share them with anyone. If you'd like to get more comfortable performing your songs for a small, supportive group, why not come along to our songwriting workshop?
You'll recieve encouraging, constructive feedback in a friendly environment. You'll also get to hear some of the wonderful songs our other attendees have written, and see their work in progress songs gradually take shape.
Our workshops happen the third Sunday of every month at Finale Music School, from 4:30-6pm.

If you've been struggling to write your own songs, would like some encouraging feedback, or to become more confident performing for a group, then come along to our songwriting workshop! It's a great opportunity to share what you're working on, hear other people's songs, and get inspiration and encouragement to keep writing.
We're a friendly, supportive group open to hearing whatever you would like to share.

Here we have Nora doing a cracking performance of the drum intro to Thunderstruck by ACDC, with a bit of help from her drum teacher, Lennon. She started learning the drums when she was just 5 years old!
If you have a child who is interested in learning the drums, do get in touch. Remember, it never hurts to start them learning music young!

Guitar teacher Johnny has been teaching rock guitar to Rosie here for a while - with excellent results!
Johnny is a classically trained guitar player with a degree in English and Music. He teaches a range of styles, including pop, rock and folk. In his lessons, students can gain the skill and confidence to jam with others, write their own songs, and express themselves.
He also records and produces bands and can offer lessons teaching you how to produce your own music.

Guitar teacher George here is playing a chord melody arrangement of 'Where You Lead' by Carole King. You might recognise it as the theme to Gilmore Girls - surely one of the most autumnal shows of all time!

If you've never had a singing lesson, you might not understand the importance of warming up your voice, like Evie is doing here. However, little exercises like this can go a long way towards improving your range and tone. They're also a great way to learn about the nuances of singing.
