Consistency…⁣

If you don’t have this, nothing else matters.⁣

A lot of people take this for granted, they just expect at some point along their journey that a new amazing motivated person will emerge. ⁣

It won’t.⁣

We all talk about motivation and how this is the catalyst to achieving your goals, when this isn’t at all the case.⁣

You dont have to motivate yourself to do things you enjoy right? ⁣

So why you should you have to motivate yourself to remain consistent. ⁣

This is the biggest reason people fail and it is purely because there isn’t enough information out there to do it yourself.⁣

Literally the first question in my check in form is Enjoyment levels, if it’s anything below an 8, we address the issue. (See slides)⁣

Enjoyment = Consistency.⁣
Consistency = Results.⁣

If training and eating correctly feels like a chore then you’re doing something wrong.⁣

Fake it till you make it 👀⁣

Definitely an oversaturated term, but let's look at it.⁣

This can be applied to all avenues of life; live like the person you want to be.⁣

If you're going for a promotion at work, do that position before you get there.⁣

Want to be a bodybuilder? Live like one.⁣

Want to be healthy? Live like a healthy person.⁣

People are so scared that they won't reach their goals, that they don't even start them.⁣

Don't set limits, if you want something, get it.⁣

I'm nowhere near the person that I want to be, but I work like I am.📈⁣

I'm always learning, I'm always adapting, but the vision stays until I'm there. 👁⁣

Don’t wait to start your life, start now.👇🏼⁣

My Top 5 Non-Negotiable Daily Habits🔥⁣

Building habits is the first step to achieving your goals.📈⁣

If you do not have daily habits, then you simply will get where you want to be. ❌⁣

Now these habits don’t have to be unenjoyable, in fact I urge you to do things that you do enjoy, or can at least feel the gratification from.🥰⁣

I set all my clients 3 Daily habits to start and over time we work up to 5. ⁣
This is so there isn’t too much to handle initially.⁣

Quick-fix diets and severe calorie restriction will probably get you to your goals, but it will not keep you there.🙅🏼‍♂️⁣

Building sustainable habits will take longer, but it will keep you there for life.🥳⁣

absolutely flying after 8 weeks.⁣

Becky trains 4-5x a week, has a great relationship with food (loves to eat out), loves pastries, loves wine 😉 has a great social life and has even gone to Spain!⁣🇪🇸

When she’s in the gym, Becky gives it everything she has got, even if she doesn’t want to and never misses a session! ⁣💪🏼

DAY OF REST 😴⁣

With it being Sunday, the day of rest, what better thing to talk about. REST.⁣

Do you train everyday? And if you don’t, do you feel guilty? Didn’t burn enough calories? Didn’t complete your rings?🏃‍♂️⁣

What if I told you, you could train 3-4x a week and still achieve your goals in the same amount of time.👀⁣

This is regarding any goal; ⁣
⁃ Muscle building⁣
⁃ Fat loss⁣
⁃ Body Recomp⁣

There’s a very common term ‘you don’t grow in the gym’ and it’s very true, there are so many factors outside of your training that will determine your progress towards your goal.📈⁣

Someone who has a good relationship with food, a healthy sleep routine, good stress management and high water intake that only trains 3x a week will achieve their goal a lot faster that someone who just beasts themselves 6-7x a week without any consideration for anything else. (Provided they have the same goal) 😀⁣

More rest= increased ability to give ‘everything’ when you do train💯⁣

She has 2 sessions with me a week, and does one, sometimes 2 weight sessions by herself.⁣
That’s only 3-4x training a week but they are GOOD sessions, always. ⁣
And that is because every other box is ticked, every single day. And look at the results! 🤩⁣

Is impatience killing your goals?😑⁣

Look, I get it. You want to achieve your goals as fast as possible. Right?⁣

Whether you are looking at shedding some fat for summer, or getting as big and strong as you can, patience is your best friend.⏰⁣

We’ve all heard the term ‘trust the process’. ⁣

But what does it actually mean?⁣

We can only do something we don’t enjoy for a finite amount of time before we inevitably and understandably stop. 🛑⁣

So when we do the new FAD diet that tells us to not eat this and not drink that, we absolutely hate our lives! 😭⁣

It might seem simple, but why don’t we just try enjoying the time it takes to get to our goal⁉️⁣

Don’t cut out sugar, don’t cut out alcohol, don’t cut out your favourite snack, just moderate it.⁣

Find exercise you enjoy doing so it doesn’t feel like a chore every time you ‘HAVE’ to go to the gym.💪🏼⁣

This way, instead of hating your life and giving up, you can build trust in what you’re doing and actually enjoy it!😀 ⁣

Enjoyment yields consistency, consistency yields results. 📈⁣
