🎥 On Tuesday, our Marketing team attended the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority Employment and Skills Marketing Phone Videography session, part of the wider SYMCA Employment and Skills Forum.

Led by Helen Downing and Jasmine Bunting, the session was packed with practical tips—from scripting and framing to lighting, phone video capabilities, and quick editing using CapCut.

As part of the workshop, we scripted and filmed A-roll footage indoors—capturing the primary narrative, interviews, key scenes, and dialogue to drive the story and convey the core message.

We also shot B-roll (supplemental footage) on the streets of Sheffield, including scenic views, close-ups, and background visuals to add depth, context, and visual appeal—making our videos more dynamic and engaging.

👏 It’s fantastic to see SYMCA supporting their providers in such a hands-on and empowering way—helping us create high-quality, on-the-go content without relying on costly videographers.
