"Behind perfectionism always hide some form of self-abuse"
Do you agree? I very much do. Especially when it comes to food, body and weight. Let me explain and share my story with you.
For many years, I have tortured myself wanting to do almost everything perfectly. This included having the "perfect diet", the "perfect body", the perfect... you name it. There was no room for good enough.
At the time, I (unconsciously) believed that perfection would bring me the love, affection and connection with others I was longing for. I believed that once perfect, then I'll be able to love myself. How wrong I was... all I got was misery and suffering.
I abused my body and soul with restrictive lifeless diets, intense pleasure less exercise and negative thoughts, just to name a few. I was evolving in a very narrow world, shutting myself from what I truly needed and what makes life worth living. How about that for self-abuse?
Until I realised what my life had become. Until I realised that perfectionism in all its forms -not only around food, body and weight- was a lost cause. A soul killer. Life is in the imperfect.
Letting go of perfectionism is crucial when it comes to challenges around food, body and weight. It is a big step towards self-acceptance and inner peace. For we are all human... perfectly imperfect.

My Story
I am a certified Life Coach and NLP Master Practitioner. I chose to dedicate my professional life to helping people overcome challenges I experienced myself for almost two decades. I once was in the same place as you are now, I understand some of the struggles you face and want to overcome.
My recovery involved various therapeutic approaches which helped me make peace with the past. Although these were necessary steps of my journey, I was frustrated that they did not help me to free myself from the self-damaging behaviours I so much wanted to let go of. Coaching helped me overcoming them. I learnt to harness my mind, discovered my true power, and the shift I had wished for so long gradually happened. I felt like I was born again.
I am now helping people overcoming their own challenges around food, body and weight. This is a new life purpose to me, a way to give back the precious help I have received for all those years. I will coach you with empathy, understanding and respect. While I will support and mentor you, you will lead the pace and I will always make sure you are in a safe place.
