Our students often exceed their own expectations, and many go on to continue their studies at university or find great jobs. We offer courses in a wide range of subjects. These have been developed to meet the needs of everyone, whether they are a school leaver or an adult re-entering education. Sheppey College is based in

Sheerness and situated close to bus and railway stations. There is plenty of car parking nearby for students. The classrooms have been designed for flexibility and all are wired for computers and the latest educational technology.

Here's everything you need to know about enrolment.👀

After you've accepted your offer on Kent Choices and received your letter in the post, it's time to enrol at the College on the date and time listed on your letter.

You'll need to bring:
✅ Proof of Maths and English exam results
✅ Email and telephone numbers of two next of kin
✅ Legal document with your full name and date of birth
✅ National Insurance number

Please contact our College Services team with any questions or issues before your appointment.

We're celebrating GCSE and Level 2 Results Day! 🎉

Congratulations to all of our students receiving their GCSE and Level 2 qualification results today.

We're incredibly proud of the hard work, resilience and commitment shown throughout their studies. Today is a chance to recognise everything they've achieved and celebrate the exciting opportunities ahead.

There were some tremendous results this year, including those for Level 2 Public Services student, Lilian, who achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English and a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths. 🎉

Meet Lilian. 👋

Our Level 2 Early Years student recently travelled to Spain to gain hands-on experience working with children and explore different approaches to Early Years education.

During her placement, she worked in a Spanish school, discovering the differences between Spanish and English settings while developing her confidence and communication skills. She also delivered her own activity, helping children learn English words through actions such as running, crawling and dancing.

The experience has brought her one step closer to her dream of becoming a travel nanny and shown her what she can achieve.

"It’s made me realise that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. It’s given me the confidence to pursue travel nannying."

We’re incredibly proud of her for embracing this opportunity and growing both personally and professionally. ⭐

Elvis, studying Level 2 Digital and IT, has loved the experiences he's had this year. He's now looking at his next steps in the world of Computing. 🖥️

"Since joining, I’ve learned a lot, including graphic design and how to use tools like Microsoft Word and Excel, along with other Microsoft applications. I've also built on the skills I developed in secondary school.

"The course has given me a strong foundation and introduced me to tools I hadn’t used before. It’s made learning easier and has opened my eyes to the opportunities available in IT."
