Iβm a very patient and understanding person that believes education thrives in a nurturing and safe environment. I believe that everyone has the capacity to learn but everyoneβs journey is different. I have over 16 years of experience of working in schools, with over 10 of those teaching. I have a degree in Special Needs and Inclusive Education and spent the first 5 years of my teaching career in
a SEN School setting. I have a vast amount of experience with ASD and was a Structured Teach Based Trainer in Outer London where I was lucky enough to teach/train a variety of amazing staff and parents. Later I moved onto working in a nurture based classroom which worked with schools, families and children in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. It was here that I furthered my knowledge by attending a number of training courses to support a variety of needs which include, but are not limited to; ADHD, ADD, ODD, PDA and attachment. Due to relocating to Kent, I worked for a short while as a year 5 class teacher in mainstream school setting before leaving to pursue private tutoring and home school teaching. At present, I also supply teach.
