The grades are starting to rise. It’s so important for students to see the reward for all their hard work and that’s certainly the case in the latest round of mocks here at Shareshill Science 😊 Having covered the content we are now on to practice, practice, practice of those exam questions in our sessions over Easter.

The Higher Tier GCSE students are working so hard week in week out to plug those gaps and strengthen their weaker topics.
Due to small group sizes, I am able to adapt work and focus on topics they feel they need to cover.
Each week it is lovely to see their confidence increase, and their individual improvements as they approach exam questions more logically.

Next week: Quantitative Chemistry! 🧪 After a week off school hopefully everyone will be well rested and ready to tackle this tough topic.

Wow! What a wonderfully busy return to term time! It’s so amazing to see all the children back the classroom.

For our year 11 students mocks are fast approaching and gaps in knowledge due to periods of home learning are becoming clear.

I have one space remaining for my 11.30-12.30pm GCSE AQA Science group (max 4) starting on 9th October. Do you have a young person that could benefit from individual focus on areas they’ve missed? Or maybe they are struggling to access the questions?

Due to circumstances beyond my control (my own children 😂) I have had to slightly adjust the timings for my GCSE science support sessions. Please see revised timings above.

There is just one space remaining in the Higher session. If you have a young person going in to year 11 this year who would like some support with their science from 9th October, don’t hesitate to get in touch 🧪 🧫 🧬

0930-1030 Higher Tier AQA Science
1045 - 1145 Foundation Tier AQA Science

Sessions will focus on the AQA Trilogy Science content required for GCSEs (Triple Science content can also be covered if required during the Higher session)
