Childminder appreciation week also marks 12 years since I registered as a childminder π₯³π
I am soooo grateful I get to do a job I LOVE and the trust parents have in me to care for their little ones is truly amazing π

Our new reading pod has finally arrived πitβs had quite the journey but itβs arrivedβ¦ we had to get it delivered to Marks work in Southampton and he carried it homeβ¦ he walked through the town with it, on the train and on the red jet π€£ he was ask several times βWhat is itβ π€£ good old Mark πͺπ»π«Ά

Another lovely week πππ§‘ we visited the donkeys at the sanctuary, played poo stick on the bridge and jumped (and fell) in lots of muddy puddles π€£
We explored the sensory bird tray, tipping and pouring bird seed and we made our own bird feeders πͺΆπ§π¦ to support the birds this time of year as food is harder to come by π
We made our own birds using paint stampers and feathers πͺΆπͺΆπͺΆ
And we headed to the beach where we collected lots of shells π some big and some small all different colours and patterns we even found one that had a scallop still inside π― the children werenβt keen to hold this one π
We have also enjoyed lots of stories,
Singing and dancing and learning lots of new yoga poses π§π»ββοΈ

We have visited Quarr Abbey, we fed the pigs π· enjoyed a walk through the woods & waited very patiently and quietly to see the squirrels πΏοΈ but instead we spotted lots of blue t**s π¦ we played the floor is lava on the logs and played hide and seek. We also had our first picnic of the year π
We have been learning about all the different birds, where they live and what they might eat and spotting different birds in the garden and on our adventures π§π¦ββ¬π¦€π¦’π¦
We visited rainbow park and fed the ducks, seagulls, swans, morhen and pigeons they, were very hungry π and we enjoyed jumping in muddy puddles π¦π¦
We have loved preparing our owns snacks this week ππππππ₯ and we have also painted snowflakes and enjoyed lots of nursery rhymes, stories, parachute games and yoga π§π»ββοΈ
