Another successful volunteer day here on the farm 🌱

It’s such a delight to see young people thrive in this environment. The foundations of our farm are built around creating a space that positively impacts every individual who visits us.

Our volunteer days are particularly special because, in just one day, you have the opportunity to give young people a really positive experience, build their confidence and create memories that can stay with them.

A huge thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who have visited us over the summer 💚

Did you know goats are natural browsers? Rather than just grazing on grass, they love to nibble on leaves, twigs, branches and woody plants 🌳

Available spaces for Weds 19th :D

Would you like to join us for a day on the farm this summer? 🌱🐓🪏

We’re looking for volunteers to help the farm team with a variety of seasonal tasks, including planting, harvesting, animal care and general farm projects.

📅 Volunteer Days
• Tuesday 28th July (10am–3pm)
• Wednesday 5th August (10am–3pm)
• Wednesday 19th August (10am–3pm)

🥪 Please bring your own packed lunch.

⚠️ Only 15 spaces are available for each day and places must be pre-agreed with the Farm Manager before attending.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who remains fully responsible for them throughout the visit.

A huge thank you to Farnfields, who collaborated with Men’s Sheds to donate three beautiful wildlife boxes for our farm 🐝🦉

These fantastic additions will provide safe spaces for our local wildlife, supporting biodiversity and helping native British species to thrive.

It’s the small acts of kindness like these that make a big difference. Thank you for supporting our farm and our mission to create more habitats for wildlife 💚

Our first volunteer day at the farm was absolutely fabulous 🌿🐑

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and gave their time to help us. Together we built, harvested, painted, fed the animals and achieved so much in just one day! 💚

It was such a fun, rewarding day and we couldn’t have done it without your enthusiasm and hard work. We can’t wait to welcome you back for the next one 🤩

A worker bee was rescued by one of our pupils after being found in some water 🐝💛

We gave her a little sugar syrup, let her dry off and before long she was ready to fly away.

The most magical part? She kept flying back to us, as if to say thank you ✨

Sometimes it’s the smallest acts of kindness that make the biggest difference.
