This week our Preschool went to visit our lovely friends at Weald Heights Care Home 🌸 Learning together and from each other 😃

The Preschoolers went off on a Summer Hunt this week! Looking for things to tick off their lists! ☀️✔️🌥️✔️🐞✔️

Our Mini Oaks have been matching the picture to the sound and then using our sand tray to write the letter.

This week we were delighted to be able to take the children out of the nursery for the first time since the start of lockdown last March!

We went on one of our favourite walks to Knole park to see the deer. We found lots of logs to climb over, things to explore and spotted lots of birds and animals on our way.

Our Acorns have enjoyed looking at puzzles in our black and white area this week.

These types of toys support their visual development, help them to develop their ability to focus their attention, and engage and stimulate them to increase their levels of concentration.

We have ditched the plastic in our playdoh station and instead we're using more open ended natural resources, which gives the children more room to use their own imagination when creating their masterpieces!

Much more fun than using plastic cutter shapes!

Topically with all this rain and sunshine, our Mini Oaks have been looking at the weather this week and in particular rainbows.🌈

They enjoyed looking at the colours of the rainbow, and then they used cotton wool clouds dipped in paint to make some lovely pictures!

As parents begin to travel back into work and life is getting back to a version of normal, we've been delighted to welcome more children into our Nursery and Preschool.

To accommodate the growing numbers across all rooms, we are looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our amazing team.
