A donut well earned! On Wednesday, the children brought in donations for our Demelza Charity fundraising pot and were rewarded with something sweet in return. A special mention of our Head Girl, whose initiative this was, for leading by example and making giving feel fun. Every penny is building towards this weekend, when the team take on the Ben Nevis Endurance Challenge for this incredible charity.

It's School Council Hustings week and our candidates have delivered excellent campaign speeches to the electorate today. Posters are appearing across Russell House and voters are posing their questions to the House Captain, Head Boy and Head Girl hopefuls. We wish all the candidates the best of luck for their campaigning this week, ahead of votes closing on Friday.

Welcome back to the second half of the Summer Term! We started off with meat-free Monday for Environmental Awareness Week. Each Russell House pupil will be planting a seed this week too, which is an idea that Eco Committee put forward. We look forward to seeing how those seedlings grow over the coming weeks and make it from The Farm to our forks for lunch! Eco-Schools England

A fantastic afternoon of cricket, for players and spectators alike. Congratulations to Cavell for securing the trophy 🏆💚 Russell House is a proud sponsor of Kemsing Cricket Club. Sport is a cornerstone of life in our prep school. We encourage all pupils to enjoy and participate in a wide range of games, enhancing their skills and fitness as they move through the school. Etiquette and manners underpin the coaching of sport at Russell House. Through competition, children work hard knowing that winning is important but they also understand the importance of their personal skills and role as part of a team.
Pre-Prep dazzled the crowd with their confidence and knowledge as they took us on a dinosaur hunt, taught us how to construct the tallest tower, explored a range of habitats and tested the drawing skills of some of the audience members in a drawing challenge.
