Thank you to our Blackburn House families for your amazing support for Crazy Hair Day today!
Our 2025-26 Senior School Head Girl team asked us to fund a new Wendy House for Blackburn House, and Crazy Hair Day has raised a further £300 to furnish it with cushions, beanbags and curtains. The girls can't wait to get it all set up!

Could you be our next WHFP Chair?
As our current Chair steps down next month, we’re looking for someone to help lead our friendly and supportive WHFP committee for 2026–27.
You don’t need previous PTFA experience - just enthusiasm, ideas, and a willingness to help support our school community.
Our committee is a small but welcoming team, and there’s plenty of support to help anyone settle into the role.
We’re also keen to welcome new general committee members too - whether you can give lots of time or just a little, every contribution makes a difference to our Wally community.
Interested in finding out more (with no obligation)? Send us a message or email [email protected] before our AGM on 8th June.
We’d love to hear from you!

Wally Quiz Night was a huge hit, as always, with fiendish questions ranging from Glyndbourne to PJ & Duncan, rollercoasters to electric cars, and figure skating to Mickey Mouse. Last year's champions from Blackburn House put up a good fight, but finished second to our team of teaching staff. 👏
Thank you to our fantastic parent volunteers who ran the evening: quiz masters Michael, Sue & Suzzie, for putting us through our paces, and bar managers Vicky, Adam and Colette, for that extra inspiration!
A huge thank also goes to the School staff who supported the event, in particular our wonderful Wally catering team, headed up by Florence, who served up delicious home-cooked chilli, and our hardworking caretaker, Anthony, for all his help behind the scenes.
See you next year!

It was fantastic to welcome our Blackburn House pupils to a special screening of Migration this evening. Thank you to our lovely parent and staff volunteers for making this possible, and especially to our fabulous catering team for providing the delicious picnic boxes!

Parent volunteers have been busy in the Blackburn House garden today, planting 300 bulbs gifted by Walthamstow Hall Friends and Parents.
The four beds have been designed by the Junior School girls to proudly represent each of the four houses. ❤️💛💚💙 Larger plants and roses will be added to the beds once the weather gets a bit warmer!
A huge thank you to Mrs Roberts (Y6 mum) for sharing her gardening expertise with us, to our parent volunteers for bringing the vision to life, and to everyone who supported WHFP activities and raised the funds to sponsor this project. We cannot wait to see the beds in full bloom!
