We’ve had such a wonderful time celebrating with lots of exciting activities! From Easter egg hunts and “pin the tail on the bunny” to creative crafts and games, the children have been full of smiles and laughter all week. 🥚✨
We also enjoyed a delicious Easter-themed lunch and finished off with a lovely Easter picnic for tea – the perfect way to celebrate together! 🧺💛

📚💛 Nothing beats story time with nursery friends—sharing laughs, imagination, and a love for reading together. 🌈✨
Exploring books supports our EYFS learning by building language and communication skills, sparking imagination, and helping children understand the world around them. It also encourages listening, focus, and a lifelong love of learning. 💫

🐞🕷️ This Week at Nursery: Mini Beasts! 🐜🐝
What a fantastic week we’ve had exploring the wonderful world of mini beasts! The children have been busy little learners, taking part in a range of exciting, hands-on activities. From going on mini beast hunts in the garden to threading their very own spider webs, and diving into imaginative play with our themed tough trays — it’s been full of discovery, creativity, and fun!
Our topic-based learning is a key part of the EYFS, as it helps to bring learning to life in a meaningful and engaging way. By exploring a central theme, children can build connections across different areas of development — from communication and language to physical skills, creativity, and understanding the world around them. It encourages curiosity, supports sustained interest, and allows every child to learn at their own pace through play.

To the person/persons who persistently move the benches, damage and take the gates off of the hinges and hide them from us at Kemsing Pavillion. We are a nursery serving the families and young children of Kemsing and surrounding areas and we cannot fathom why you would spend time sabotaging the veranda and subsequently the people who use it.
It is but a minor inconvenience to us, however, when you completely remove the gates and hide them, the children cannot go outside to play as it is not safe. We would request you answer to the parents of our attending children as to why you deem this a necessary part of your morning routine.

Thank you to all of our parents who donated to our children in need fundraiser. We have over £150 so far. Here’s a selection of our very own (and very adorable) pudsey bears.
