Our Colts A team competed in the annual Tonbridge 6’s on Wednesday and battled hard in testing conditions (both cricketing and weather wise!).
Always a great day and lots of excellent cricket on show. Well done, team!

Year 2 took a deep dive into the icy waters of the North Atlantic this week to launch their exciting new Titanic topic in History.
Hidden beneath the ice, they uncovered a fascinating collection of “Titanic artefacts” and used their brilliant historical thinking skills to make thoughtful predictions about what these discoveries might reveal.
We were incredibly impressed by their curiosity, enthusiasm and imaginative ideas—well done, Year 2! 🚢✨

What a fantastic evening of music at Solefield School’s Summer Concert! 🎶
The audience was treated to an incredible showcase of talent from across the Senior School, with performances from our Year 5 Ukulele Group, Guitar Group, Rock Group, Senior Choir and Chamber Choir, alongside a wonderful selection of soloists on a variety of instruments.
A huge well done to all of the pupils involved for their hard work and dedication — the talent on show was truly amazing, and everyone should be incredibly proud of their performances.

In assembly this week, we were treated to a fantastic presentation from one of our Year 8 pupils, who spoke all about his experiences with the Army Cadets.
Confident and engaging, he shared insights into the wide range of activities involved, highlighting fieldwork as his favourite part – something he spoke about with enthusiasm and pride.
He captured the attention of the entire school from start to finish and finished brilliantly with a quiz that kept everyone on their toes. It was wonderful to see such confidence, passion and leadership on display, well done, Cadet!
