I'm a fully qualified, DBS checked teacher offering online tuition and some holiday sessions and 11+ mocks in the Sevenoaks area. I specialise in Key Stage 2 and 11+/exam entrance assessments and take a holistic view of the child and aim to create motivational lessons and insparational learning. What if your child could build 11+ skills while taking part in treasure hunts, creating Lego challenges, using magic wands and playing Pass the Parcel?
I’m thrilled to be running a choice of two unique online Year 4 11+ clubs from September. Designed as small-group sessions, these clubs offer an engaging, interactive, and creative learning experience that children genuinely look forward to each week.
Each session is built around a fun weekly theme, including Minecraft, Harry Potter, sports, animals, and even ice cream! We also enjoy special seasonal themes throughout the year, including Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Bonfire Night, and Pancake Day.
To make the sessions fully interactive, every child receives a parcel of resources to use at home during the sessons. Activities are carefully designed to bring 11+ preparation to life in a way that is both memorable and enjoyable.
As a taster, children have bounced balls into goals to answer verbal reasoning questions, scratched off answers on scratch cards, spun doughnuts to collect points, used magic wands and glow sticks to select answers, created Lego structures to develop vocabulary, followed treasure hunts around the house, and even played Pass the Parcel – 11+ style!
No two weeks are the same, and we cover a wide variety of topics throughout the year. These clubs offer a truly unique approach to 11+ preparation, combining high-quality learning with creativity, excitement, and fun.

🐣Easter Greetings🐣 I may be having a few days off tutoring, but you can’t take the tutor out of me 😁! My son enjoyed an Easter egg hunt yesterday with maths word questions. Word questions are definitely not his favourites, but the lure of the fun of the competition playing against his sister and prize of chocolate eggs engaged him enough that he asked for more 🎰 . Yes, that is a Christmas t-shirt at Easter. Never too early for Christmas 😂

Fast food like you’ve never seen it before! Setting up some very happy fast food meal boxes for my Year 5 11+ groups. We’ll be ‘practising’ with milkshakes, tucking into some code word burgers and volume chicken nuggets and having area fries. Reasoning, English and maths all tucked into our happy little meal of joy (which has a surprise toy, of course 😜😀). Online tuition with a difference
