🐣Easter Greetings🐣 I may be having a few days off tutoring, but you can’t take the tutor out of me 😁! My son enjoyed an Easter egg hunt yesterday with maths word questions. Word questions are definitely not his favourites, but the lure of the fun of the competition playing against his sister and prize of chocolate eggs engaged him enough that he asked for more 🎰 . Yes, that is a Christmas t-shirt at Easter. Never too early for Christmas 😂

Fast food like you’ve never seen it before! Setting up some very happy fast food meal boxes for my Year 5 11+ groups. We’ll be ‘practising’ with milkshakes, tucking into some code word burgers and volume chicken nuggets and having area fries. Reasoning, English and maths all tucked into our happy little meal of joy (which has a surprise toy, of course 😜😀). Online tuition with a difference

So much preparation out there for the 11+ is targeted solely on the academic rigours of preparation, but so much can come down to mental attitude, focus and approach, both before and during the test. All set up and ready for my mental preparation for secondary entrance tests workshop tomorrow. The ducks form an important part of an activity 🦆 😃. I always have a choice of pen for each child to use (and keep) during these sessions and my pondering of the evening is which will prove more popular - the cat or frog pens? Current prediction is the cat pens will have it in the popularity stakes
