🗺️🔎 Treasure Hunt Triumph!

Our treasure hunt brought out everyone’s competitive spirit as the children raced to solve each clue with so much excitement and teamwork 💛✨

A big well done to Otis for his super quick‑fire answers — brilliant thinking! 🏆🧠

🌳🔤 Woodland Letters & Little Navigators!

Alice, Amalie, Alaire and Lyra had a wonderful time exploring the woodland, discovering lots of “letters” hidden among the trees and twigs. They loved matching them to the names of their friends — such brilliant early literacy moments 🌿✨

On our walk closer to nursery, the children became expert navigators, figuring out directions and chatting about what was to the left and right of us. Such curious minds at work 🧭💛

🌊🪨 Stream Adventures at Broughton Cottage!

We loved our walk to the stream, the children had their first paddle of the year and spent ages skimming stones across the water 🌊💦

They showed brilliant problem‑solving too! When the stony path disappeared, everyone worked together to rebuild it using rocks and stones, carefully sorting them by size. George took his role as foreman very seriously 🪨🧠✨

Such a wonderful mix of teamwork, exploration and outdoor fun 💛

🚂🌾 Field Adventures at Broughton Cottage!

We set off on a big adventure into the fields between the nursery and the North Down! The children loved watching the trains zoom past through the countryside 🚆✨

Devon was thrilled to spot an “owl” in the woodland and told everyone all about its nest and how it was going to fly away 🦉💬

There was lots of running, exploring and laughing as we raced through the fields together 🌾💛

Back at Broughton Cottage, we cooked our lunch over the campfire — the perfect end to our adventure 🔥🍲

🕷️🐛 Garden Discoveries at Broughton Cottage!

We’ve been busy spotting all sorts of creatures in our garden! River and Marco found a speedy little spider on the climbing frame, River named him Mr Skinny Legs 🕸️

Ted rescued a wiggly worm and popped it safely back into the mud 🪱💛
We also helped a very hungry bumblebee who tucked straight into the pollen on our hellebores 🐝🌸

And of course, we gave a friendly wave to the magpie watching us enjoy our tea from afar 🐦✨

🌱✨ Garden Fun at Broughton Cottage!

Our veggie patch is coming to life, pea shoots popping up, potatoes and carrots planted, and our amazing herb wall smelling delicious! 🌿🥕

With the sunshine out, we’ve been cooking outdoors and enjoying every warm moment ☀️🍽️

We’re loving The Tiny Seed and learning all about growing and seasons 🌼📚
Each child is growing their own sunflower, we can’t wait to see whose grows the tallest! 🌻 Please send us your progress pics! 📸

A perfect place for your baby to grow, learn, and thrive every day. 💛

The children have been busy enjoying their favourite woodworking sessions 🔨🌳 Using their tools, they worked together to “fix” the tractor, proudly announcing after a while that it was “all better now!” 🚜✨

We also practised rope-tying skills using thick cords, twisting and looping them around trees 🌲🪢 As their confidence grows, these skills will help them learn how to attach and transport items during their outdoor adventures.

Teamwork was in full swing too, as the children foraged for fallen branches to build an impressive woodland den 🏕️🍃 They even added a discarded hammock to give their new ‘home’ some extra shelter!

During our walk, the children collected lots of rocks ready to turn into pet rocks 🪨🎨 — we’ll be decorating them next time!

A wonderfully busy, creative and productive session all round. 🌿💚
