MEET OUR TEACHERS

I’m Leila, a current 3rd year Degree student at The Urdang in London and previously trained at The Miskin Theatre in Dartford for 2 years gaining a Level 3 Extended Diploma. I have been dancing for 18 years in styles ranging from jazz, contemporary, tap, ballet, commercial and acro and have had a love and passion for all things performance and theatre since starting dance at 2 years old ! Aswell as being a student, I also dance for many corporate entertainment agencies taking part in flash mobs, music festivals and providing shows for high profile company events. Alongside my own performing career, I am super excited to teach at TDC and pass on valuable knowledge and skills from my 5 years of professional training in dance and musical theatre, onto the next generation of young performers.

As we sign off for Term 2 to celebrate Christmas with our families, we just wanted to pop on to wish you a truly brilliant festive season and a wonderful New Year!

MEET OUR TEACHERS

Miss Silvie
Our Junior Primary Dance Teacher 🪩

Silvie began dancing at age 10 and whilst still at school, grew a passion for performing. After she left school, Silvie furthered her love for dance and musical theatre by training professionally at Bird College. Silvie graduated Bird in July 2021, with a first class BA Honours degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. After graduating she jumped straight into the teaching a variety of styles including Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Modern, Commercial and Street. Since then Silvie has been lucky enough to travel around the world working on cruise ships performing as an ensemble member and solo dancer, as well as choreographing for shows onboard the ships. However, inbetween professional performing contracts Silvie loves to come back to teach and inspire the next generation of performers.

MISS FLAVIA
• Our Primary School Senior and Mini Movers Dance Teacher

Flavia graduated from Bird College with a BA (Hons) in professional Dance and Musical Theatre. With a strong foundation in various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary and jazz, Flavia is excited to bring creativity and enthusiasm to help each dancer reach their full potential in class with us at TDC

And just like that, our final dance class for this academic year has come to an end. This has honestly been my favourite year teaching at TDC. Being able to watch all our students grow, develop and have so much fun makes my heart full! I am so proud of each and every one of them, however I couldn’t possibly do it without my amazing team of teachers:

Chance2Dance 2025 🩰🪩

What a way for the school to end the year on a high. A huge congratulations to all of our wonderful students who took part in .c2d over the weekend. Miss Tori & Miss Jazz are super proud of each and every one of you, now it’s time to enjoy the last 2 weeks left before finishing for the summer 💫

This weekend is a busy one for all our Dancers at TDC as we take part in Chance2Dance Summer Showcase on Saturday 21st June & Monday 23rd June 2025

We are SO excited to perform at The Stag Theatre before finishing for the summer holidays 🌟🪩🩷

We are sending the best of luck to all our Yr5 and Yr6 students at Lady Boswell’s Primary School, who we have the pleasure of working with, as they take part in ‘Love2Dance’ tonight 🪩👯‍♀️🎭

A huge shoutout to Miss Eloise for being incredible with the choreography and getting our students to where they are, but also our lovely staff members of LadyBs who are there backstage with the students snd sacrificying their evening.
