Such a lovely letter to receive. Thank you to the school for sending us this. We cannot stress enough our belief that Pubs play a huge role in the community, town or village!

🌸Pubs are our culture, our communities, our togetherness and neighbourliness. Pubs are our identities, our release, our social well-being and mental health. Pubs are where we all come together irrespective of your job, your income, your beliefs, gender, sexuality, race or religion - the pub is the leveller. A pub belongs to the people, we are just the custodians! But we’ll continue to do our best to play our part.

We’ll be having a Summer spruce up in the pub very soon with a fresh lick of paint and maybe a new colour. Look out for that! And look out for each other 💕 Pubs matter because people matter!

🌍✨ International Day at Weald was bursting with colour, creativity and community! ✨🌍

Our children spent the day exploring cultures from around the world through hands‑on, joyful activities — from beautiful dot artwork and intricate salt dough creations, to origami and folk tale puppet shows!

A huge thank you to Miss Sarjeant, whose careful planning and creative spark made International Day so enjoyable for everyone. The children loved every moment.

And a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parents who joined us, supported the children and helped make the day feel truly special. Your involvement brings our learning to life.


What a fantastic celebration of global culture, creativity and togetherness.

☀️ Thank You for Supporting Our Summer Fete! ☀️

A huge thank you to our wonderful local community for making our Summer Fete such a success. Despite the heat, it was fantastic to see so many families enjoying the colourful Weald Wave, Helter Skelter, ice creams, homemade produce stall, coconut shy, and photo booth.
Sadly, it was too hot for our four-legged friends to take part in the dog show, but the popular water station certainly helped keep everyone cool!
We loved seeing the beautiful clay creations made during the day, and we were incredibly proud to see one of our pupils selling their own handmade earrings at the fete.
And let's not forget the giant monkey looking for a new home! Mrs Drogomirecki and her family are looking forward to meeting their new house guest... or are they? 🐵😂
A special thank you to Mrs Virgo, our amazing PTA, especially Mrs Bull, Mrs Matthews, and all the volunteers whose hard work made the day possible.
💙 We are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community.

🌟 Last Toddler Tuesday of the Term – Join Us Tomorrow! 🌟

Where toddlers play and parents recharge! Join our fun-filled Toddler every other Tuesday 8:45–10:30am!

Every year Weald CPS run a very popular event called Dad's Breakfast where dads/uncles/grandads and other male caregivers can take part in a fun team challenge with their kids.

Fuelled by caffeine, juice and pastries the event was once again a great success. Run by two of our parents Ian and Robin, the challenge set this year was to create a boat in 20 minutes which could hold the heaviest cargo without sinking.

The only kit provided was a plastic bag, a square of foil, one paper cup, 6 paper straws, a roll of sellotape, 2 lolly sticks and some blutak! After construction the boats were floated on a water tank and 2 pence coins were added one at a time - the winner was the boat that could hold the most coins ! The two most aesthetically pleasing boats were awarded a head start of ten free coins!

Great fun was had by all - with a lot of enjoyment found in naming the boats too (more than one christened Boaty McBoatface 😂) as can be seen from the photos. Huge congratulations to the winning team on their boat construction ingenuity!

Got a little one aged 0–4? Come and join our cosy, playful Toddler Tuesday sessions — running every other week and perfect for curious toddlers and their grown‑ups.
