We are the Yorkshire Dales Guides Adventure Academy. Born from a passion for getting kids outside and mountain 🏔 safe. This is an initiative to get young people 8 - 18, local to the Dales into the outdoors proper by giving them regular life changing, confidence building, skill enhancing tuition and experiences in the great outdoors. We will be offering rock climbing, abseiling, caving, potholing, mountain navigation, mountain safety, basic wilderness first aid ⛑, psychologist led team building and teaming, single rope technique you name it. And very importantly to us, at an affordable price you can afford. We don’t want money to be a barrier to participation and that’s why we are so grateful to the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust & the British Caving Association for sponsoring this essential community service.

A local initiative to introduce more people aged 8 to 18 to adventure sports and the great outdoors in the Yorkshire Dales.
