As we move towards February, I’m beginning to feel that familiar mix of excitement and curiosity that comes before a new Foundation group begins. (starting on 11th February)
Each time I teach the Kinesiology Foundation, I’m reminded that learning is never one-way. Yes, I’m there as a tutor — holding the structure, the safety, and the progression of skills — but I’m also always a student alongside the group. Every cohort brings different questions, insights, and ways of understanding the work, and that keeps the teaching alive.
In the coming months we’ll be exploring the foundations of kinesiology: how the body communicates, how energy, emotions and physical structure are interwoven, and how careful, supervised practice builds confidence and competence over time. I’m particularly looking forward to watching those early moments when things start to click — when techniques move from theory into felt experience.
Health School has always been about learning that is grounded, spacious and well-held, and my students for this Foundation feel very much aligned with that intention.
I’ll be sharing a few glimpses along the way — reflections, sketches, and moments from the teaching — as the journey unfolds.
