We hope your child has enjoyed holiday club as much as we have enjoyed having them! It has been wonderful to see them having fun, making new friends, and taking part in all of the activities.

We would like to say how fantastic the children’s behaviour has been throughout. They have been kind, respectful and enthusiastic. We are so proud of them all.

We hope you all have a wonderful rest of the summer holidays, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September. Please not that any emails received during the summer break will be responded to from 7th September onwards, and school reopens on Tuesday 8th September.

Wrap Around Care – Important Payment Reminder
As we come to the end of the school year, we kindly ask all families using our Wrap Around Care provision to ensure that all outstanding balances are paid in full by Friday 31st July 2026.
To help avoid accounts falling into arrears, please remember that, in line with our Wrap Around Care Terms and Conditions, all sessions must be paid for in advance. We would therefore encourage parents and carers to make a payment to their ParentPay account before the end of August to cover any sessions booked for September.
Keeping your account in credit will help ensure your child's place is secured and prevent debt from building up on your account. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. If you have any queries regarding your account, please contact the school office, or email [email protected] who will be happy to help.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB CLOSED TODAY FRIDAY 10TH JULY

Dear Parents and Carers,

Further to the email sent yesterday, school will be closing to all pupils at 1:30pm today.

The school gates on The Field and New Lane will be open, and we ask that you collect your child from the playground.

Many of our classroom thermometers are already recording temperatures higher than those outside. Although we have cooling fans in the classrooms, the indoor temperatures continue to rise, and we have very limited shaded areas outdoors.

Closing the school early is not a decision we have taken lightly. However, the welfare of our pupils and staff must remain our priority during this period of extreme heat. We already have a number of pupils reporting that they are feeling unwell, and temperatures are forecast to increase further as the day progresses.

If your child attends Pre-School, collection will take place after the Graduation Assembly.

Please note that the early school closure also means that After School Club will not be running today. If you have a place booked, this will be cancelled automatically and no charge will be made.

If someone else will be collecting your child, please email [email protected] with the name of the person collecting your child and a password that they can provide on arrival to ensure a safe collection.

SUMMER FAIR - FRIDAY 3RD JULY

If your child is booked into after-school club on Friday but would like to visit the Summer Fair, please send them with a small amount of money in a named envelope or purse. We will be very happy to take them along so they can enjoy all the fun of the fair with their friends!
