July is a key month for global sustainability action - with Plastic Free July encouraging millions worldwide to reduce single‑use plastics and protect our oceans.

After returning from Hurghada, Egypt, our colleague Tracey shared how she joined a local beach clean‑up, supporting the hotel’s green sustainability commitment and helping protect the coastline.

Colleges across the FE sector are continuing to face real challenges in recruiting enough specialist staff to deliver high‑demand technical programmes.

In this video, our CEO Mark Dawe shares how we’ve been working with colleges, including Leeds College of Building, to develop new blended learning resources that offer practical support where capacity is stretched.

Our first release, Electrical Science, is a blended learning resource that supports delivery of Level 2 Electrical Installation qualifications.

With 90 guided learning hours of structured electrical science e-learning content, it can support or replace classroom delivery. Early feedback from colleges has been extremely positive, helping teams strengthen delivery, save staff time and deliver consistent programmes.

And this is just the beginning. We’re already developing further blended resources to help providers build more flexible and resilient delivery models.
