A huge thank you to everyone who made last week’s event such a success! 🏉

We’re grateful to The Read School for hosting us, and to their Year 10 GCSE PE students, who did a fantastic job leading the morning’s skills sessions. Thank you for bringing such enthusiasm and encouragement to the day!

A big thank you to Barlby Bridge and Hambleton for attending and getting stuck in. It was brilliant to see everyone learning, playing and enjoying rugby together.

📣 Starting this Monday—FREE multi-sport sessions in Selby!

Looking for something active and social for your 8–16-year-old? Come along to try different sports, meet new people and have fun. No experience or club membership needed!

📍 Selby High School Sports Hall
📅 Monday 5 October
🕔 5–7pm
🎟️ FREE—just turn up, no booking needed!

Sessions continue every Monday during term time, with activities including rugby, football, netball, cricket, dodgeball, lacrosse and mini-tennis.

🏉 Could you be the coach who helps a girl find her confidence?

You don’t need years of coaching experience to make a difference. A willingness to learn, encourage others and get involved is a great place to start.

The Selby Swans Girls’ Coaching Pathway is inviting women and girls aged 16+ to develop their skills through funded training, practical mentoring and supported coaching experience at Selby RUFC.

Whether you’re a player, parent or someone looking for a new way to get involved in rugby, we’d love to hear from you.

🍂 Five days of half-term childcare, one week sorted! 🦢

We’ve got working parents covered this October at Selby RUFC:

🎨 Monday 26–Thursday 29 October
Four full days of sports, games, arts & crafts and fun, with childcare from 7:30am–5:30pm.
£35 per day, or 10am–3pm for £20.

🏉 Friday 30 October
Round off the week with our rugby-specific camp!
10am–3pm | £20 per child
Bring boots and a gum shield.

🍽️ Make those busy working mornings easier—breakfast, lunch and snacks are available to book for Monday–Thursday. One less thing to organise before heading out!
