A new year, a new batch of exams. With GCSEs on the horizon many students feel more anxious and unsure than ever. Everyone understands the importance of revision, but many students just don’t know where to start. Or how to revise efficiently and meaningfully. And with class sizes constantly growing it can be difficult for teachers to address students’ individual needs.
This is where my service can help. Last year I was in the exact same position as your child is today. I understand how daunting the task of doing well in exams is. However, I also understand how rewarding it is to achieve the grade you wanted and exceed expectations. I achieved a grade 9 in Maths and the sciences as well as an 8 in English.
My recent engagement with GCSE studies gives me a more in-depth understanding of the curriculum. As well as a knowledge of exactly what examiners want from students. I will provide a tutoring service for Maths and the Sciences (including computer science). And extend my tutoring to explaining the best ways to revise, in all subjects. Including all the tips and tricks that helped me achieve the best grade I could.
I myself am still studying (Maths, Further Maths, Computer science and physics A level), which allows me to more closely empathize with the unique frustrations of each student. As well as helping to motivate students to engage with revision.
My service starts at £12 an hour, stationary and books not included. Working with KS3 & KS4 ( Ages 11-16).
