Two tomatoes 🍅🍅
Handed to Mr Dhami by Mr Brotheridge from our new BHA allotment on the first day of term.
These two tomatoes started as tiny seeds. Over time, with the right conditions, care, patience and attention, they've grown into something pretty impressive.
As we begin a new school year, that's a powerful reminder for us all.
Every learner walking through our doors this week is starting a new chapter. Some are beginning Year 7 and finding their feet.
Others are entering important examination years or the next stage of their journey. Growth doesn't happen overnight. It happens through the small things done consistently, day after day.
The allotment isn't really about growing tomatoes. It's about growing confidence, responsibility, resilience, teamwork and a sense of belonging. Although the tomatoes do taste exceedingly good.
And if these two are anything to go by, we've got a lot to look forward to this year! 🍅
Here's to new beginnings, new opportunities and a year of growth for every learner and member of staff at Beacon Hill Academy.
