Dear families,

We have made the difficult decision to close the school today due to the storm overnight and many road closures. This is not a decision that is taken lightly, however we need to safeguard our children, families and staff. We have a number of staff that do not live locally and cannot get in to school. We understand this is not ideal, but it is important that everyone is kept safe.

There will be work set on Google Classroom if your child should wish to do this with your child.

✍🏻WRITING WEEK✍🏻 last week there were some very strange going’s on in the woods… a mysterious door appeared and lots of keys were discovered after half term. 🚪🗝️ How did it get there? Where does it lead to? We used the door and keys as a hook to a whole school writing week. The children all visited the woods to see the door and then kick started their week long writing unit. The week ended with different classes getting together to celebrate and share each other’s work! A great success ✔️

Seaton Primary School Fundraiser... We are all so excited to be hosting and taking part in our very own festive run along the seafront at Seaton throughout this morning.

All year groups will be joining in, dressing up and getting in to the Christmas spirit.

The fundraiser is dedicated to raising money for a motorised wheelchair for one of our fabulous students who would really benefit from one.

We are grateful of all the donations so far and if you'd like to cheer along at the sea front or drop a donation into one of the donation buckets, we would be more than grateful! Good luck to all the children and staff participating!

Welcome to Seaton Primary School!

We are a two-form entry primary school set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We are proud of each and everyone of our children and what we achieve together as a school community. Our children are wonderful, active learners who engage in an inspirational, broad curriculum enriched by our school grounds, local environment, trips, residential visits and visitors to school.

We have our own onsite swimming pool which is available for hire by swimming companies, available for schools to book term time swimming lessons and available for private swimming lessons through Seaton Swimming School.

We also have an on site woodland and a dedicated forest school teacher with lunchtime and after school clubs. We work closely with Primary Sports who provide PE lessons and holiday clubs and with Happy Hawks who provide wrap around childcare onsite.
